★ Lone Star Markets
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Lone Star Markets LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Lone Star Markets," "we," "us"), operates self-service convenience markets in residential and commercial buildings, and delivers scheduled restaurant dinners to residents of communities where we operate a market. This policy describes what information we collect when you shop at our markets, join our loyalty program, or order dinner delivery, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you check out at a kiosk (no account needed): the items you purchase and the transaction amount.
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Square, Inc., which holds them — on Square's own payment hardware at a kiosk, and in a form served by Square when you pay for an order online. Where you save a card for future orders we keep only the card brand and the last four digits, so you can recognize the card you saved; kiosk checkout keeps neither. Square's handling of your payment data is described in Square's own privacy policy.
Kiosk screens may display a live image from the kiosk's camera so you can see the area is monitored. The kiosk itself does not save this camera feed — there is no continuous video recording. Separately, to troubleshoot issues and improve the checkout experience, we sometimes review a replay of what a kiosk's screen showed during a checkout session. These replays are a series of screenshots of the screen — never live video and never audio — and at markets where the on-screen camera preview is turned on, they can briefly include the preview image, and so an image of you. Screen replays are kept for a limited time by our analytics provider (Mixpanel), are reviewed only to keep our kiosks working well, and are then deleted.
When you join our loyalty program (market customers): your mobile phone number. We store it so we can recognize your membership and send you program texts. We never sell it, and we never share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We also keep your points balance, visit history, rewards activity, and purchase activity associated with your membership, plus a record of the consent language you saw when you enrolled, and when and where you enrolled — kept as legal proof of your consent.
When you join our dinner-delivery program (residents of communities where we operate a market): your mobile phone number. We store your mobile number so we can send you program texts. We never sell it, and we never share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We also collect your first name and unit number, which we ask for by text when you enroll and use to bring your order to your door; your orders and delivery history; and the photo we take at your door as proof of delivery.
We do not collect your email address, your full card number, your precise location, or anything from your phone itself. The loyalty program asks for nothing but your mobile number; we collect a first name and unit number only in the dinner-delivery program, where they are needed to deliver your food.
How we use it
To operate your loyalty membership (earning and redeeming points, rewards, and surprises); to send the program's marketing text messages — only with your consent, given at enrollment (message frequency varies; see the loyalty program SMS terms); to send one-time sign-in passcodes by text (transactional; sent whether or not you receive marketing texts); to run the dinner-delivery program (texting you when dinner service is scheduled at your community, taking your order, keeping you posted on it, and delivering it to your unit); and to operate, secure, and improve our markets.
Text messaging
We operate two text-message programs: a loyalty program for our market customers, and a dinner-delivery program for residents of communities where we operate a market. Each has its own phone number, its own consent, and its own terms — see the loyalty program SMS terms and the dinner-delivery program SMS terms. Consent you give for one program is never used for the other, and opting out of one does not opt you out of the other.
Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We never text a number that has not asked us to.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
What we share — and what we never do
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Square (payments, product catalog, gift cards), Twilio (text message delivery), Mixpanel (kiosk analytics, including the screen replays described above), and our hosting providers. Each receives only what its function requires.
To prepare and deliver your order we share your first name, your unit number, and what you ordered with the restaurant preparing that evening's meal and with the person delivering it to your door. Neither receives your phone number.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business (in which case this policy continues to apply to it).
How we protect it
Only specifically authorized personnel may access phone numbers. When you opt out, we stop using your number to send you messages, and we keep a record of your opt-out so that we can honor it permanently.
Your choices
Stop texts: reply STOP to any program message. Because the two programs are separate, STOP applies to the program that sent the message; reply STOP to a message from each program you want to leave. Leaving the loyalty program's texts does not cost you your membership or your points. Reply HELP to any program message for help. Details in the loyalty program SMS terms and the dinner-delivery program SMS terms. Delete your membership: contact us at help@lonestarmarkets.com and we will delete your loyalty account or your dinner-delivery enrollment and the associated activity, except records we must keep to honor your opt-out or meet legal obligations. Children
Our markets and our programs are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy at this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
